OLA Energy Kenya helps make hand sanitizers

Due to the ongoing pandemic, keeping hands clean is one of the most important steps we can take to avoid getting infected with the Coronavirus and stopping its spread to others.

Therefore. OLA Energy Kenya agreed to blend and package part of 130.000 liters of hand sanitizer at our ISO certified lubes blending plant in support of the Government of Kenya’s effort to combat the spread of COVID-19. The hand sanitizer will be distributed for free across the country mainly targeting informal settlements. This will assist Kenyans especially those from low socio-economic back-grounds who might not have access to this most important weapon against the virus.

Knowing that every liter of sanitizer we blend gives a winning chance in flattening the curve of the Coronavirus; our technical experts have worked tirelessly to meet the strict production timelines given by the Government.

So far, many Kenyans have benefited from over 93.000 liters of the free-hand sanitizer that have been blended at our facility and distributed by the Government to several counties including Nairobi. Kilifi, Mombasa. Kwale, Nakuru. Siaya. Kajiado. Kiambu. Muranga. Makueni and Machakos. The Government is mapping out a strategy to ensure all the 47 counties are covered.
